There is no advertising system or advertising SDK operating within the current Reclaim Arm application.
4. Google User Data
Reclaim Arm provides Google Sign-In as an authentication option.
When you choose to sign in using Google, information provided through Google's authentication service, including your name and email address, is used to:
- authenticate your identity;
- create or maintain your Reclaim Arm account;

Google user data is not used for advertising, targeted marketing or unrelated profiling.
We do not sell Google user data.
We do not provide Google user data to data brokers.
We do not use Google user data to train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Google user data may be processed by Base44 as part of providing the authentication service described below.
Reclaim Arm does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts or other unrelated Google services.
We limit our use of Google user data to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Google's policies require applications to request only the access necessary for their functionality and to disclose their handling of Google user data.
5. Third-Party Services
Reclaim Arm uses third-party services to provide and operate certain parts of the application.
Base44
Reclaim Arm is developed and operated using the Base44 platform.
Base44 provides services used to operate the application, including application hosting, authentication, database functionality, file storage and application deployment.
Information processed through Reclaim Arm may therefore be processed by Base44 as necessary to provide these services.
Base44 manages the authentication process used by Reclaim Arm, including Google authentication.
Google provides authentication services when a user chooses Google Sign-In.
Google may process information in accordance with Google's own privacy policies and terms.
Weglot
Reclaim Arm uses Weglot to provide translation functionality.
Weglot translates visible content displayed within the application when a user selects a supported language.
Because Weglot operates by processing rendered page content, information displayed on a translated page may be processed by Weglot.
This can include:
- the user's displayed name;
- the user's displayed email address; and
- user-entered session notes or other content displayed on a translated page.
Reclaim Arm does not intentionally send these items to Weglot as separate user-data fields. They may nevertheless be processed by Weglot when they appear as visible content on a page being translated.
Weglot is optional. Reclaim Arm can be used in English without using the translation functionality.
Support Email
If you submit a support request through the Reclaim Arm support function, the information you enter, including your message and optional name, is sent to reclaimarm@gmail.com so that support can be provided.
6. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Your information may be processed by third-party service providers where reasonably necessary to:
- operate Reclaim Arm;
- provide authentication;
- provide database and application services;
- provide file storage;
- provide translation services; or
- respond to support requests.
Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by law, including where necessary to:
- comply with a legal obligation;
- respond to a lawful request from a government or regulatory authority;
- protect the security of Reclaim Arm or its users;
- investigate suspected misuse or security incidents; or
- protect legal rights.
7. User Access and Administrator Access
Your personal Reclaim Arm records are associated with your account.
The application uses access controls designed to prevent ordinary users from accessing another user's personal session, progress, recovery-profile or reassessment records.
Administrators have additional access to application information for purposes including administration, troubleshooting, maintenance and analysis.
Administrator access is controlled through the application's administrator role.
Administrators may access records necessary to administer Reclaim Arm. Where data is exported for analysis or research-related purposes, the current Reclaim Arm export functions remove user identifiers such as names, email addresses and account IDs.
8. Research and Research-Related Use
Reclaim Arm has been developed based on rehabilitation methods investigated through research relating to upper-limb recovery following stroke.
Reclaim Arm itself is not a research study.
Using Reclaim Arm does not automatically make you a research participant.
The application does not currently create separate research participant accounts or research-specific database records.
Reclaim Arm's research-related functionality allows administrators to export certain information in anonymised form for analysis. Current anonymised exports do not include user names, email addresses or account identifiers.
Research-related use of information will be conducted in accordance with any applicable research requirements and approvals.
Where a separate research study is conducted, participation will be governed by the relevant participant information and consent documentation.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information held through Reclaim Arm against unauthorised access, use, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
The current application uses Base44's authentication and access-control systems.
Reclaim Arm's application-level access controls restrict ordinary users to their own personal records, while administrator access is controlled through the administrator role.
Reclaim Arm does not store users' passwords within the application itself. Authentication is managed through the Base44 authentication system.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should take reasonable steps to protect their own account credentials and access to their devices.
10. Data Retention
Reclaim Arm does not currently have an automatic data-retention period or scheduled deletion process for user records.
User records remain stored until the user deletes their Reclaim Arm app data or another applicable deletion process occurs.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Reclaim Arm, maintain appropriate records, support legitimate operational purposes and comply with applicable legal requirements.
Where information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable legal or operational requirements.
The current application does not provide us with visibility of Base44's platform-level backup retention practices. Information that has been deleted from the application's active database may therefore be subject to any applicable platform backup or recovery processes.
11. Account and Data Deletion
You can delete your Reclaim Arm app data directly through the Settings section of the application by selecting the account deletion option.
When you use this function, Reclaim Arm deletes the application records associated with your account, including:
- your UserProfile;
- RecoveryProfile;
- session records;
- task-progress records;
- archived tasks;
- reassessment records; and
- associated recovery and progress information.
After the deletion process, you are logged out of Reclaim Arm.
Authentication account
The underlying Base44 authentication User record, which contains basic account information such as your name and email address, is currently managed by the Base44 platform and is not deleted by the Reclaim Arm account-deletion function.
Accordingly, deleting your Reclaim Arm app data does not necessarily remove the underlying authentication account maintained by Base44.
If you require further information about the retention or deletion of the underlying authentication account, please contact us at reclaimarm@gmail.com.
Information may also remain in platform backups where applicable and where we do not control the platform's backup-retention processes.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:
- request access to information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of information, subject to applicable exceptions;
- request information about how your personal information is handled;
- object to or request restrictions on certain processing; and
- make a complaint about the handling of your personal information.
For users in Australia, applicable privacy rights may arise under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Users in other jurisdictions may have additional rights under the privacy laws applicable to them.

13. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Reclaim Arm web application and third-party services used by the application may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies where necessary for:
- authentication;
- maintaining a user session;
- application functionality;
- security;
- language and translation preferences; or
- technical operation of the application.
Reclaim Arm does not use these technologies for targeted advertising.
14. Medical and Rehabilitation Disclaimer
Reclaim Arm is a self-guided exercise and recovery support application.
It is not intended to provide a medical diagnosis or replace individual assessment, treatment or advice from a qualified health professional.
Information and activities provided through Reclaim Arm should not be considered a substitute for advice from your doctor, physiotherapist, exercise physiologist, occupational therapist or another appropriately qualified health professional.
If you have concerns about your health, safety or ability to perform an activity, seek advice from an appropriate health professional before continuing.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Reclaim Arm, our services, applicable laws or our privacy practices.
When significant changes are made, we will take reasonable steps to make the updated policy available to users.
The Last updated date at the beginning of this policy indicates when it was most recently revised.
